As a musician you must maintain professionalism at all times and one even though someone may not tell you this, it could end up hurting your chances in getting booked for performances or people wanting to play along with you as a group. Here in the Musicians Corner we will go over some basics to help you as a professional musician in your career.

· Keyboardist- If you don’t know the song, do your research and learn the song playing in different keys. If your are playing an accompaniment selection with a group of singers try to contact the group leader early in advance to get the style of the song so that way you can have time to practice before the actual performance.

· Beginner Piano Players- Trust your learning strategy and rely on your practice. Everyone may offer ideas on how you can improve but, stick to the way that best works for you.

· All Musicians-Remember to always maintain courtesy and self discipline. You will perform for different people with various personalities so always try to keep calm.
